GBDon't waste your money! In 2018 I signed up for the Sylvie McCrackens EBook Engines 8 week course. It is still the worst mistake I have made to date. The course was 8 weeks long and consisted of short weekly pre-recorded online videos, and a weekly online group session with Sylvie. During the 8 weeks you are expected to reach certain milestones pre-set by Sylvie and her team. You are given the opportunity to send in "help tickets" as often as you like, but it typically took 2 days to get a response. During the weekly group session with Sylvie, you will get a max of 10-15 mins to ask her questions about your progress. You also get access to a private FB group where you can ask other members for guidance or encouragement. All of this would be totally fine if the price tag was reasonable for what you are getting, but in my opinion, it is far from that. The course I took was and insane $7,000 for the 8 weeks. For that kind of money you can hire a personal business coach. Someone who is working with you 1 on 1 the entire time. In this course you get maybe 2 hrs of 1 on 1 (in a group setting) time with Sylvie total for the entire 8 weeks!! And all of the information that she provides to you in the "modules" is something that people are giving away for free on many YouTube videos. In my opinion, there is nothing that her course provides that you can't find on your own for free on the internet. In addition to the insane price tag, the sales tactics used to get you to sign up for the program were appalling in my opinion. I was told that I had to make a decision right there and then on the phone or the price would go up to $13,000!!!!! I was made to feel like saying no would be the biggest mistake of my life. When I said I couldn't commit to the price, I felt bullied into signing up for the program. Think timeshare or car salesman experience. If her services are so amazing, and what she is offering is so valuable, then she shouldn't have to utilize these tactics to get clients. Since posting my review on Yelp last year, I have gotten multiple messages from other disappointed people telling me that they wished they had seen my review prior to signing up. There are now more reviews on Yelp from other people with similar complaints. If I hadn't been so desperate to find a way of reaching the "American Dream", then I would have never fallen victim to this experience. I felt like my desperation and vulnerability was prayed upon and used against me. I can only hope that my reviews will help other people avoid the mistake that I made. Back then there were no reviews available, and I was the first one to speak up. Because I complained I was removed from the FB group, and my access to all course materials was denied. So I was left with a $7000 payment and nothing to show for it. I tried to share my grievances with Sylvie and ask for at least a partial refund for the program, but I was denied. When I complained about feeling like the program was falsely advertised, all communication was directed to her lawyer, which I believe was meant to intimidate me. It was made clear that my signing of the contract prior to starting the program left no room for complaints or reimbursement. The only purchase I have ever made in my life where a business could have cared less about my grievances, and refused to make things right. Do your research before considering any services from her. And I second other reviews saying to double and triple check the contract that she makes you sign. It is her get out of jail ticket!

GBHelpful course in so many ways! I’m so appreciative of Sylvie, Hannah and Courses for Health Professionals. 6-8 months ago I started to investigate the different ways I could make residual income and Sylvie's course ad kept popping up on Facebook for me. I never fathomed that a person with NICU experience could do an online course that's scalable with Neonatology being so specialized, 1:1 care, and so hands on… I was curious- how could I POSSIBLY do something virtual!? But with this course I realized I have SO MUCH I can offer in the online course space of the metaverse. I now have an informative prenatal and postnatal program outlined, a FB group, and an email list I regularly message. I've learned different marketing strategies and have been on several podcast episodes with more coming up. I've started a blog and have gained confidence in sales calls although I still have some work to do with that! Most importantly I've gained the CONFIDENCE that I can make this happen with my continued perseverance and positive attitude. This course gave me great base and building blocks to create something amazing and it has opened my eyes to new possibilities. I’ve started to dream and dream big for my family. I have recognized that I hang on to a few limiting beliefs and there are many things I need to work on mentally and organizationally but I’m not going to stop until I make something of this. Sylvie and her team's encouragement and feedback have put me on a great path and I’m so thankful.

GBDon’t do it. Better courses out there Sylvie’s 8 week “Ebook Engines” course is $7000 and consists of a few pre-recorded videos, weekly group zoom calls and a couple 10 minute check-ins with a “mindset coach” who was completely unhelpful. I felt high-pressure from the sales person on the phone. When I expressed doubt on the phone, the sales person threatened to revoke the “offer” to join the course and said the price would go up to $13,000 if I didn’t buy right then. She also guilted me by saying “we normally don’t even schedule a phone call when someone expresses doubt like you.” Shameful. So I succumbed to the pressure and bit. But after truly throwing myself into the program and working my but off, trying to get the most out of it, I can honestly tell you a year and a half later that it’s the biggest financial mistake I’ve ever made. There was no satisfaction guarantee, no refund policy - nothing. I’ve also talked to fellow alumni who said they were refused a partial refund and banned from the Facebook group. Clearly if Sylvie’s course was any good, there would be a satisfaction guarantee or at least a good faith effort at customer support. But there’s no transparency, no accountability, nothing. Furthermore, the course merely shows you how to create an eBook, but does not provide any substantive info on how to market and sell it, aside from a couple throwaway video modules encouraging you to contact possible affiliates. I discovered after doing my own work & research that the steps, software and resources Sylvie recommends in her course are also inefficient, out of date, and not based on real results. In retrospect, I’ve gotten much better info from true experts online for free. Sadly I put myself $7000 in the hole for this program. A year and a half later, after working extremely hard, I still have not recouped the money from ebook sales. That should tell you about the quality of this program and the results you can expect. I’m saddened and disgusted by the unethical sales and marketing tactics Sylvie and her team use for this sham of a course. In my honest opinion, the course is probably worth about $200. In fact, last year I took SamCart’s “One Page Funnel Masterclass for $1000 and got 10 x the value for a fraction of the price. If you want to learn how to make money online (including creating digital products like ebooks) There are so many better, more reasonably priced courses out there from true experts who are also ethical and genuinely care about your success and satisfaction. Next time I ever spend $7000 on myself, I’ll make sure it’s someone who’s the real deal, and a premium experience worthy of that price tag. I hope this review helps you not make the same mistake that I and so many others have made. Don’t do it.
