Following it top down will then allow you to easily branch out using other study aids, OCG etc. to supplement the knowledge area being worked on. Definitely recommend these guides as part of your study plan.

DevNet Study Guide Highly recommended. It has increased my knowledge and understanding. Found the material to be well written and informative. Clear understanding of restconf, netconf, yaml, etc. I have experience with Python but this material presented me a different appreciation of the language. This has filled the gap for me from my studies online and Cisco Press books. I feel confident all the material I will need for the exam has been presented in this course. DevNet objectives is a bit dull and found this course has led me to be more engaged, compared to other reference materials mentioned. Again, well written.
