Grading was inconsistent… I didn’t like how assignments missed 1-5 requirements in the rubric and were instantly graded a 0. Assignments should be penalized for missing an element, not completely disregarded.

I have always had trouble with college… I have always had trouble with college algebra if it wasn’t for straighter line I never would have passed and completed my degree!

My experience What made my experience great was the fact that I was able to finish the course so fast, and my transcript was sent immediately after! I did not like the high prices of the lab kits and the monthly membership fee. I feel as if we’re paying for the class it’s unnecessary to throw in a membership fee also.

StraighterLine is great! An easy and inexpensive way to gain college credit. The BOGO specials are awesome- I buy all of my necessary courses this way, then just start them one at a time. I would highly recommend StraighterLine!

Good course Great course and I needed a self paced course based on my schedule. The lab kit contains everything you need and it’s pretty fun to let any younger kids you have in your life watch or assist with experiments. The course itself is straightforward, you submit lab reports and they get graded within 3-5 days. As with many self taught courses, you’ll get as much out of the course as you put in. Almost all my reports were graded within hours except one that took a couple days for some reason. I would say more videos and pictures of the lab experiments/dissections would be useful but it’s not difficult to find supplemental websites with more images if your more visual like me.
