BEWhy you must join the Pickupmusic community! Pickupmusic is a fantastic online guitar learning community, it is very intuitive, very easy to navigate and packed with an amazing amount of lessons in all genres. The Pickup team really makes an effort to give guitarists the most effective way to learn. I have tried numerous online courses and this clearly and without a doubt beats them all in my opinion. Try your 2 first weeks and I'll bet you will stay. Highly recommend!

GBShould have started sooner. I’d taken brief jazz lessons years ago and never furthered my education. I’ve followed pick up since their inception and have only recently decided to explore jazz again. It’s a mistake that it took me long to do so. This program is expertly guided and easy to navigate. I’ve been playing the guitar for 15+ years and I’m mad at myself for now only committing to this program. With the proper commitment to this program, you’ll be ready to take the next step and progress faster than you think. From 2-5-1 progressions, to my personal favorite, jazz blues, this program offers you everything you need to start your journey and continue beyond.

AMPickup music is a great place to learn… Pickup music is a great place to learn guitar - not only technical aspects, but also important components like feel, rhythm and style basics - along with music theory, but only if you don't mind it - nobody will ask you to learn all scales and modes and stuff. Highly recommended!

GBWorth every penny, and then some I was an intermediate guitar player that struggled to take my playing to the next level, so I decided to give pickupmusic.com a try. I started with the CAGED course and it opened up an entire new world for me. Dr. Miller is a fantastic instructor and helped me push past the rut I was in. I took quite a few courses after CAGED and they all helped with diversifying my playing. But now I’m taking their Soloing course and it’s giving me the skills and confidence of putting together my own solos, as well as improvising. I’m currently studying one of their pieces and transcribing my own solo, I’m calling it my capstone. I’d like to thank all the instructors. They’re all awesome. Even better, sometimes they put on zoom sessions, at no extra cost. You can also submit videos for feedback; I submitted one and received excellent, customized advice. And Sam’s weekly emails are always informative.

VNSimple and well structured Simple and well structured. The bending and vibrato is good knowledge for beginners. It may feel a bit long for intermediate players. I would love to digging more into different styles (such as John Mayer, SRV... and more challenging licks. One downside (together with many other courses on Pickup) is the lack of groove/beat/tempo instruction. Sometimes you dont know where and when to get in.
