GBHighly Recommend NFEC's Course The self paced training worked well for my schedule as I have a regular 9 to 5 job. The layout of the course material engaged all my different learning styles - videos, reading and activities. Also the quizzes at the end of each section were great for reinforcing concepts. The surveys at different points of the course (50%, 75%) encouraged me to proceed

GBI love the program so far I love the program so far. Prior to starting this program, I was lost on how I would get started with teaching classes. I am passionate about reaching groups of people by teaching them financial literacy. Workshops are the best way to do it and now I will have the material to do it.

GB"Learning is Earning." As a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) I had a dream of teaching financial literacy. My enrollment in an Executive MBA program at Nichols College made that dream a reality when it challenged me to come up with a passion project. Research for the project led me to the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC). At that point I knew that I would use their curriculum when I started teaching financial literacy. What I've learned from the Certified Financial Educator Instruction (CFE) is, connecting with the learning is more important than just presenting what I know about personal finance. I am currently teaching personal financial literacy to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I plan to expand the program. As part of my recruitment and retention plan, before I place an instructor with learners, they will either have the CFEI designator or agree to complete the course as part of the hiring process. This is to ensure that we maintain a culture that fits our beliefs and values, that students will be financially capable before they reach adulthood, because they would have completed the work due to the framework that the CFEI provides.

GBWorth you time and money! As an accountant, I thought I had a good grasp on teaching financial literacy, but NFEC has provided me with so much more than I could have imagined - from teaching methods to data collection, not to mention subject knowledge that I would not have thought of including prior to the classes. The program is well-designed, easy to navigate, and engaging. The resources alone are worth the investment. I highly recommend NFEC to anyone who wants to teach financial literacy.

GBI appreciate the teaching methods to… I appreciate the teaching methods to incorporate in presentations, classes and/or discussions. My initial thoughts were that I would just be learning financial literacy to share with others. The course was so much more.
