A wonderful and convenient service! Our 9 year old daughter and 5 year old son both look forward to working with their tutor, Mary Kate, every week. We have done other forms of tutoring before, and this has definitely been our most positive experience. Peter helped us find a tutor who would work best with our children's personalities, and it has made all the difference. The convenience of virtual tutoring has also made this kind of personal support more manageable for our busy family. Homeschool on Zoom As a homeschool mom, my very first experience with 'zoom' learning has been with A Traveling Teacher -- we love our teacher, he has connected with my daughters and quickly assessed where she was in the subject we chose. He has been prompt, professional and personable all while keeping my daughter engaged and interested. We love this format b/c we don't have to leave our home and she is getting the personal attention we desire. She is moving ahead quickly and without any time wasted (the way classroom time can have what I call dead air) -- on the contrary, my daughter is getting all of the 30 mins just for her and it is showing in her progression. My son is in 9th grade and Algebra is really challenging for him, he had a F when we reached out looking for services. After few sessions, my son went up to a C and seems to understand the academic concepts much better.
