Good course Dr Somas teachs you a systematic way to tackle the step 2 CS exam. Including what questions to ask, how to do physical exam, how to write the patient note. Because the course is just 3 days, with the last day being the mock exam, you dont get enough practice from just doing the course. What really makes this course valuable is the ability to keep coming to the center and practice until the date of your exam.

Good course to take for the step 2 CS Good course to take for the step 2 CS, Dr Somas is a good teacher,very patient and allows you to move on your pace. He teaches how to perform physical exam, and write a good patient note. You also have opportunity to go to the center which is exam like setting and practice until you feel confident and ready to take the test. You will improve your English, patient notes, CIS. Dr Somas also checks the notes as you move, teaches you the best techniques to have a good patient notes. I felt very confident and comfortable during my test after having the opportunity to study at NYCSPREP

NYCS PREP did an excellent job with CS… NYCS PREP did an excellent job with CS preparations. I do recommend coming to the program after reading through First Aid at least once as the program is only a few days long. The center is a great facility to meet other students and practice preparing for the exam with. Dr. Somas provides tougher feedback and cases, so that you are better prepared for test day. You saved me Doctor Somas, you saved me! I received my score yesterday and I passed! Fear of the unknown and problems with proper time managment are your worst enemies when taking the CS exam. I am a FMG and nobody tells us how to PROPERLY prepare for this exam. Books are insuficient. A friend that failed the exam and later passed recommended Dr Somas and I am glad that I listened to him. I felt very confident during my session and the time managment techniques he teaches were crucial for me. Didn't even have to study. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
