Born in San Antonio, Texas, and now based in New York City, GBRI is a heartfelt endeavor aimed at democratizing sustainability education. Initiated from a humble apartment with our foundational course, ‘Elements of a Green Home’, we swiftly formed educational alliances with prestigious entities like the USGBC and AIA. As we grew, we faced the challenges that come with expansion, balancing the responsibilities at GBRI alongside other commitments. We deeply value the feedback from our community. While we strive for excellence, we recognize that we're on a continual learning journey and are not infallible.
