GBEye Opening I’m not a parent, but I have a better understanding of why my parents have their own unique patterns and why I have my own unique patterns as a result of taking this course. I have more empathy for my parents and for myself. This course has also helped me build a stronger relationship with my parents’ and the teenage girl’s soccer team that I coach. Dr. Shefali’s Conscious Parenting 2.0 Course gives parents and non-parents the tools to have authentic relationships with their children and themselves.

AEIt’s GOLD! A lot of all the positive comments I have for this course are in the reviews.. if I were to say it in one word.. this course is GOLD. Not only have I been able to understand and empathize with my own patterns .. but it enables me to see it everywhere and extend my compassion in all my relationships. Being a certified coach practitioner under her and having this “how to” method is something I keep going back to. Thanks Dr. Shefali .. it’s one of the bestest gifts ❤️💛

GBWaste of time and money Please review her material and listen to the negative reviews. Her lectures/books are focused on ideals and parenting styles that are not healthy or normal for most women who live their children. She didn’t have a loving home growing up and her pushing this unrealistic and bizarre agenda onto others who don’t know better is sick. Her mother didn’t have a choice as she was married to an Indian man in India with limited resources and no freedom of choice. Her own lived experience is night and day from most American mothers. She cannot relate and her teachings are laughable.

CADr. Shefali's Conscious Parenting 2.0 course is worth every penny! I enjoyed and found Dr. Shefali's Conscious Parenting 2.0 course very helpful. The material is easy to follow and clearly laid out. The best part is that you can right away implement the steps. As you already might know, Dr. Shefali is easy and very interesting to listen to!!!! While I was learning I also was feeling entertained. The doctor's speaking style is very engaging! And the best way to retain information is when you are having fun. I particularly enjoyed the live interventions. Dr. Shefali's introduction to the course was worth the cost of the entire course, in my humble opinion. Her "movie making" analogy clearly explained to me the "why" behind most parenting behaviour. Once you understand the why, it is easy to implement the steps. Thank you Dr. Shefali!

GBBe careful - not good Be careful. Dr. Shefali was born and raised in India with a completely different outlook on life. The Indian culture is very different than traditional American culture. Her views and way of parenting are very offputting and not in line with most American parenting styles. She’s endorsed by Oprah who has no children and is linked to child trafficking. Give me a break. You couldn’t make yourself sound more incompetent if you tried. Her writings and podcast are very shaming in nature and focused on telling people what to do from her very limited perspective given the fact that she was raised in an unloving environment in a different country. You can read all the books you want and study any subject, but your experience - or lack of - speak volumes. Her focus is to be hands off as a parent and letting children figure it out on their own. That is not realistic. It’s also not very nurturing or loving. I don’t know many women who agree with her style of parenting. At least not women in the United States. Maybe other cultures where corporal punishment and abuse are common and expected.
