If you apply for jobs which have 100 or… If you apply for jobs which have 100 or more applicants it is very likely that your CV will not be read by a human but rather being filtered by an ATS. So, if you write "MS" instead of "Microsoft" and the latter form is used in the role description, you might already loose some points. Jobscan helps you to avoid these things, is very easy to use and saves you a huge amount of time if you have to write a lot of applications. What is great, that it shows you not only the missing keyword but also the context in the role description so that you can rephrase your CV accordingly.

Great tool, but don't overdo it This is a great tool to help you refine and tune your resume. Although better scan scores improve your chances of making it past the various ATS solutions, it doesn't guaranty success. I would advise being cautious about spending too much time trying to reword your resume to align with every possible keyword in the job description. The risk is that you'll turn your resume into word soup that no longer reflects your experience and skills.

Jobscan is super helpful in hitting those keywords and tailoring my resume to whatever job I may be looking for. I was able to get wayyyyy more interviews and ended up landing a job thanks to Jobscan!

Jobscan ATS scan best I tested, but still many limitations Jobscan, ATS check (free) is best of all the ATS checks available. Significantly better than enhancvPRO ($50/month). That is jobscan key seller. However 1. needs to be much more transparent about the assumptions of the ATS model used - more than one ATS model used by recruiters and ATS model continually is improved (likely faster than jobscan updated). 2. Many roles, ATS check is irrelevant or is custom built for organisation. Smaller organisation. Or fewer applicants. 3. Does not help with getting past the more important gatekeeper, recruitment system (e.g. Workable). For example, Workable is particularly awful as it drops part of your resume PDF, when it is sent. Most people do not realise this unless you have worked with workable. 4. No ability to add in your own cringe words group, culture-avoid words group. aka ability to remove amercian fluff words which in my country guarantee your resume gets ignored.
