GBI was a coach for Parabolic and… I was a coach for Parabolic and mentored a few clients from China. The students were highly motivated and receptive to my feedback, I went over interview questions in the quantitative data analysis field and job search strategy. It was fully remote and convenient from the perspective of a coach and it felt good giving advice to students and getting compensated for it

GBParabolic Review I signed up with Femi’s platform after having a couple of conversations with him. He is an impressive man with a viable business model. I was more interested in paying Femi to help me find a role than I was interested in the Parabolic platform. Soon after signing up with Parabolic, it seemed that Femi was understaffed. But although his company has been weathering the volatile market lately (as the rest of the economy has), Femi has done right by his clients. From my experience he is a legit entrepreneur with integrity.

GBStay away Stay away! I applied to work as a coach in mid-February and was accepted as a coach soon after without an interview. I received a generic email and was asked to use Airtable to accept clients and schedule coaching sessions. In addition, Ari (Chief Revenue Officer/Growth Product) introduced me to one client via email as well. However, I was very confused as the firm did not do an onboarding and the entire process was unclear, including the payout expectations. I expressed some concerns and Ari continued to push me to schedule coaching sessions, rather than understand and address my questions and concerns. I decided to do some research and understand this firm better. I found some reviews on TrustPilot, but these are clearly fake; there is one from the current CEO (Varun Sharat), one from a current employee (Sam Cripps), and a third one that's likely an employee or a friend (Kelly Garren) - great job not making these obvious. If you notice, almost every user review on TrustPilot has no other reviews beyond Parabloic and this is a clear flag. In response to my Google review, Kelly Garren left a 5 star review on March 13. I found some forum posts on WallStreetOasis and Fishbowl that are worth reading as well: 1) wallstreetoasis (forum/job-search/parabolic-usa-career-coaching-and-staffing-several-red-flags) 2) wallstreetoasis (orum/job-search/headhunter-review-parabolic-usacarrerllc-ie-career-coach-service) 3) fishbowlapp (post/is-parabolic-career-worth-the-money-looks-like-a-scam-coaching-service) To recap, 1) it appears that Parabolic accepts coaches without a formal interview or process, 2) there is no onboarding for coaches, 3) the online reviews appear to be fake, and 4) there are other red flags from their clients and previous employees on forums. Good luck if you do decide to work with Parabolic.

AUNo show I set up a time for consultation on calendly and received an excessive number of emails reminding me of the time of the consultation over 2 weeks, only for no one to show up. What a waste of time.

GBI decided to use Parabolic to help me…aag I decided to use Parabolic to help me get into consulting. I was pretty bad at case studies and needed some help. Prior to Parabolic, I couldn’t get past the first round at most places. Not just at MBB, but also ones like Deloitte or Accenture. At Parabolic, Femi and Tony made sure I could easily ace the case studies I faced. They even stayed up til 1am casing me on multiple occasions. I got an offer at Oliver Wyman in there NYC office and am very glad I used the services of these gusys
