We really enjoy Stevie We really enjoy Stevie. She caters Chase’s sessions to his personality and learning style. And is very flexible with the session. If Chase wants to focus on a particular subjects, she allows him space and time do so.

Need a tutor? Look no further. There are not enough stars to express how happy we are with Tutored by Teachers. We were looking for tutors for my daughters ages 9 and 14. Both had different educational needs. My 9-year-old needed extra support as COVID-19 and distance learning put a damper on learning the last few months of the school year. My 14-year-old sought out SAT prep as the program she planned to attend in this summer was cancelled. Enter Tutored by Teachers. Tutored by Teachers listened to my concerns and what I was looking for in a tutor. There is an abundance of tutors from all across the nation with numerous specialties. There were so many choices and I appreciated the help in narrowing down the selection. I was connected with several carefully vetted teachers who they thought might be a good fit for each of my daughters. In an “interview” with the tutors, I was able to explain my child’s needs, get a feel for their teaching style, how they would run a typical session, and what learning activities they found useful. This helped tremendously in choosing a tutor. Both girls enjoy working with their tutors and always look forward to their weekly sessions. No lie! My highly critical 14-year old even stated she preferred her tutor over some of her teachers. My 9-year old’s tutor is patient and tailored activities to my child’s interests which made learning fun and enjoyable. Our state will be starting the new school year in a distance learning format. It was a no brainer for us to continue with tutoring during this time. I always viewed tutoring as a luxury, but rates are reasonable, and the skills of educators is exceptional. Yujia is a very talented teacher. Yujia is a very talented teacher. She is knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She is patient and encouraging. She was able to make very abstract material accessible. She not only explained very dense and intricate concepts of organic chemistry and genetics, but she also was able to advise me on the study and test-taking strategies. If it wasn't for her support I would have never been able to pass this class. Anyone who gets to work with her will leave with a strong understanding of advanced biology and a love of science.
