I removed my info from Career Builder I removed my info from Career Builder. They are the only job board that I've had issues with scammers. I received a ton of calls from Pakistan or India posing as legitimate job placement agencies and speaking rapidly. After I wasted time with the first caller and realized they were trying to scam cash I figured out what was going on. Unfortunately that was the first call of many. I've reported this activity to the correct government agency.

Beware!! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT share your personal or professional information with this company. As soon as I posted by resume, I received numerous spam calls as well as spam texts. However, the worst issue is that someone was able to get my identity and my bank information. Be aware if an opportunity is too good to be true it is not true. I received two emails for jobs that sounded fantastic and paid well, that were both scams!!!!

It is hard enough to weed through legitimate offers without being bombarded by emails and texts saying they received my info from Career Builders and they have an interview set up. Not in my field and usually not researchable.

In letters or SMS, they write that a suitable job has been found for you. When you click on the link, it may turn out to be a completely different job.
