Long, rigid, authoritarian, unpaid and packed with tests and also many demo lessons online in front of trainers and other students where they keep telling you over and over that you may fail and have to redo some other day if you deviate from the exact way they want you to teach.

You cant book online sessions before complete previous 2 lessons and online sessions. Online sessions just repeat self-learning lessons. So that Berlitz it is not efficient learning way to beginner level.

Berlitz low hourly wages with unreliable benefits… Berlitz is an authoritarian company with very unreliable benefits including a low hourly wage that is paid upon students attendance. Management is awfull (they do not even pay the parafiscals and lie about it). Managers are new rich who bully well educated teachers without any concern because they have no education at all- people that learnt their language in the street. Street teachers. They even lie about paying for your pension - please be aware. They also lie about your performance - be aware and take note of everything you do! Cuidado ! Barely this school needs any additional… Barely this school needs any additional recommendation. It's just one of the best language centers. As a language geek I've been using their interactive courses and books since young age, and I recommend their online/offline classes to everybody who is learning a foreign language, either as a fun hobby or for job. I've studied German, Chinese, and considering to dive into French someday.

in general I am very pleased with Berlitz. The continued difficulty for both me and my instructor Alma to join the lesson is very frustrating for both of us. We are resorting to Skyp in general I am very pleased with Berlitz, especially my instructors. I am bothered, though, by the audio portion of the lessons. One of my instructors (I can't remember which one) agreed that the audio is much too fast for a student/learner to follow. She said that even she had trouble keeping up with them. Please have the imaginary speakers in the audo portions slow down! i appreciate Berlitz's willingness to design a curriculum more in line with what I am interested in learning about. Special kudos to Nancy Sorial, Melissa Kovacevic and the rest of the team that handles my account!
