This app ruined my reading This app ruined my reading, the books were quite boring, so I sped it up as much as possible (Note: you have it set to one speed, not read at your own pace. It might have 2 modes, but it still pressures and BLOCKS YOU FROM USING THE PROGRAM if you are too fast or too slow). However, this just made me skim through the texts. I gave it up for a little while to real actual books, it was so hard to understand (I used to read a lot in the past - I was never this confused by the texts) what was happening since I had build the habit of skimming through the text. Luckily, after not using the program for a few months, I have rebuild the habit of actually reading it. It might 'make you consistently read' but this makes you just read at a constant pace, while not actually taking it all in. It is for these reasons that I do not use ReadingPlus anymore. I understand how it may help other students, but it isn't for an avid reader. If you are a teacher, don't make it necessary to do your lessons. I am worried that some people may have to do these lessons, hate them, and think that *all* reading is like this. Going back to my example, after I stopped using ReadingPlus, I enjoyed reading the most I had in over a year.

Never use this. Ever. I like to read and even I'm not too fond of the application of reading plus. The books are boring and the guided window is so slow. And when you read at the speed of it you can't comprehend it. This leads to many students being put in support mode even though they didn't do anything. Going back to my original statement saying that books are boring there are hardly any fiction books and nonfiction cover topics that almost no one is interested in them. Tell me if any of you want to learn about transporting fragile items from museum to museum or how hair is the best form of self-expression. In conclusion, if you want to use Reading Plus just read a book instead.

Reading pulse makes me cry Reading plus is an absolute terrible site. If I was a teacher I would not use or recommend reading plus. Also, the only thing reading plus does is make me hate reading even more because of its boring books that make me want to cry when reading them. Also if u get 75% or less on a book you have to make up for it by reading another book which I think is stupid. Reading plus is also unfair because other kids only get to do 3 or less assignments while other kids like me get to do 5 or more. Please change everything about you website who ever owns reading pulse because it’s a disgrace to reading its self.
