10XBNB was officially founded in March 2022, but our story started long before that. Our founders, best friends Ari Rahmanian and Shaun Ghavami, met while attending University of British Columbia. Shaun went on to work in the banking sector while Ari pursued medicine… only to both find themselves completely unfulfilled and lost in the corporate system. They knew if they did nothing and followed the same path as everyone around them, they’d be spending 40-60 hours a week in an office cubicle, shackled to one location in the world and working hard to make someone else rich and happy. Then in 2017, Shaun was introduced to Airbnb by a coworker. He was skeptical, but after investigating things further he realized the opportunity was too big to pass up. So Shaun spent any free time he had to educate himself on everything Airbnb. Especially, how to get started in Airbnb without owning any property. After making a lot of mistakes along the way, Shaun pioneered business systems that allowed him to make a living from other people's properties. By providing a valuable service to landlords. He recruited Ari to help him grow the business, and they now have 24 properties. Shaun and Ari have climbed the Airbnb Everest and operate within the top 0.1% of all Airbnb practitioners. Friends kept asking them how they were living with so much time-freedom, so they told them what they were doing and began sharing their system. 10XBNB sprang out of the groundswell of demand for Shaun & Ari to share their method with a wider audience.
