Defensive Pistol Refresher- AWESOME I took both of their classes and it was so worth it! I feel so much more comfortable handling pistols. The teachers went over the laws in detail which was very helpful. Going out to the range, they taught us how to defensively use our pistols as well as answering any questions we had. Love this company!

Professionalism and Excellence in Firearms Training Course: NRA BIT & Basics of Pistol Shooting ILT Having spent time with the US Coast Guard in a maritime law enforcement unit, I've taken my fair share of firearms training by various quality instructors. I can say without hesitation that I was very impressed and pleased with the NRA Instructor Training provided by Guy and Suzanne Masterson from Pureland Security (NRA Training Division of Elephant Mountain Firearms Training). This is the kind of hard to come by quality-training aimed to grow individuals into their potential by providing them with the right instruction, tools, and resources. The communication with PS was excellent from start to finish. Guy and Suzanne were very attentive and responsive throughout the certification process, answering questions and providing follow-up via emails and over the phone. The classroom portion of the training was dynamic, well-timed, and the instructor candidates were encouraged to participate actively in a positive environment. The range activities were no exception to the well-structured course. The instructors promoted an environment of safety allowing you to remain focused and relaxed before, during, and after the qualification shooting. The one-on-one interaction with Guy during this phase was very valuable, as he provided the instructor candidates with feedback and advice to help troubleshoot and sharpen their shooting skills. The two days of training were long and intense, with plenty of information to digest, but well worth it.
