Afficent Math is horrible Honestly, as a student, this program is utterly sh1tttt. The computer system in it sucks, it can't detect anything and tends to just give random questions from 4 grade even though I am a high schooler. Furthermore, the demos are extremely confusing often with 3+ paragraphs explaining a simple x+1=3 question. Then when you actually start doing the problem it's 11(5x+7/2)+67-5(2-5y)=1. This is extremely frustrating as you just spent 10-20 minutes reading the demo to find out that the actual problem is much more complex. Moreover, the system is extremely expoiltable as each exercise only has around 10 problems and students (like me) can just screenshot the problem and then just look back to it for the answers. Overall, afficent math is not recommended to your child unless you want them to kill themselves. You will have your child better off using a math program such as Khan Acedemy.

Not worth it I thought it was decent at first, but then I realized that you have to write certain answers in a certain form, otherwise the program will mark your answer as incorrect. I didn't know this and got many questions wrong. It's extremely frustrating when a correct answer is marked as incorrect. Furthermore, the questions are repeated and you can just memorize the answers. The site is glitchy and sometimes it causes all my tabs to stop functioning. For $180 a month, it's definitely not worth it.

Students Prespective I believe that as a student doing this program that it does help but, it does not help much. The program doesn't help teach new skills. It just asked for the answer for the problem. I have read a lot of the other comments and I noticed that all of the 5 star reviews are from parents while the 1 star is all students. Knowing that most parents are just trying to help their kids this is definitely not the best way to do it. There are many other options that are better.

Not fun but helping I got an A on my midterm and I'm happy about the results. It's not fun, but no math study is fun I guess. This one is better than going to tutors at least I can do it at home and I can study with my cats by my side. I LOVE MY CATTTTSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
