Gold Seal - You won't be disappointed! Gold Seal, Russell Still, and staff are nothing short of amazing. I used GS ground school for my Private written preparations and glad I did. I started with another ground school but it felt dated and more like a PowerPoint presentation. Boring. GS is interactive and up to date. In fact, there were numerous times I would be notified of updates / improvements / changes. If I had questions, the GS staff would respond quickly. They make you feel like part of the team as opposed to someone simply subscribing and paying a fee.

Highly recommend for online instrument ground school Gold seal has a very well put together course for instrument pilots. I used another online ground school for my private and Gold seal in my opinion has set the new standard of excellence. They have a great course complete with videos and up to date figures and reference material, and there ifr know it all guide is a great summary for study and review. Informative and does not feel hoakie or outdated like others. Highly recommend.

Great for written exam prep I got Gold Seal to prepare for my written exam, and for that purpose it was quite helpful. The lessons are presented well and professionally with access to further reading linked right on each lesson page. The staff has always been quick to respond when I've asked questions on things I've not been 100% clear on as well. For an online school, I feel like more than just a subscriber. I feel like Russ and the staff feel committed to my success and Gold Seal continues to be a great resource to brush up on topics as I continue my flight training

So good, even a 70-year old can do it. Really enjoyed using the Gold Seal Private Pilot ground school program. It's well designed, the classes are professionally produced and cover what I needed to pass my written exam on the first try. As a 70 year old just getting started the program worked for me. The testing modules were great.
