The Microvisorhood is one of the Best Purchases I have made in a long time..The Microvisorhood is most effective when steam rising to the fan vent and would hit the microwave also.. It prevents that from happening. Therefore protecting the microwave from the heat that would cause cracks in the frame of the microwave… The Microvisorhood is very, very easy to install..,Shipping was speedy, it arrived in 3 days…I am so very Happy I found the Microvisorhood

I ordered the removable style and led… I ordered the removable style and led light. The box arrived in a distressed condition, I opened the box and found 1 corner laid over even with the packing. The packing was good but just not enough for what it went through. They might want to address this with the shipping company. I straightened the corner and installed with no issues as I am leaving for work in a couple days, so I did not send it back. They did offer to replace it. My wife loves it and knows no different, my issue is the cost and to have it show up in distress.

Solid Construction: Reasonable Installation George, just received and installed your touted Microvisor retractable hood. It's every thing you said it would be, namely quality in construction. The rear attach magnet concept is ingenious!! Makes it a one guy operation. Do have one suggestion, the knurled height setting knobs would be easier to access/tighten if they were keyed for an Allen wrench....a small item in an otherwise superb design. Also, was impressed with packaging. Solid box, no dings or dents!! Again, as when I ordered, being able to watch the videos and correspond directly with you was/is a major plus. The hood does what it’s supposed to do The hood does what it’s supposed to do. If it was a couple inches less in depth with the same slope it would not stick out as mischief and would not inhibit the access to tall pots on large burners in the front. Also the screw to stop it from sliding was slightly too short for our installation and keeps falling out. Had to replace with something different.

Definitely worth buying! After reading the reviews on the microvisor we decided to give it a try. It arrived 5 days after our order and was packed very securely and in excellent condition. Installation was a breeze and it performed as advertised. We are very very happy with it! Looks great and does the job.
