Battery capacity is fine for a 4 hour show! Sound quality and latency were excellent, as expected. My biggest concern in shopping for a wireless system was about battery life - some wireless units I considered appeared to have very limited operation times between charges. However, with the Ampshark 5G, I've successfully played 4 hour shows with no battery issues whatsoever! As an added bonus, I'm able to recharge my units between shows with an inexpensive solar battery charger, so my Ampshark 5G is very "green." This is a great product and well worth the price!

Does not work on my Alembic Bass. The Amp shark will not work correctly with my Alembic Bass. Not sure why. It works on every other guitar and amp I have used it on. I have active pickups with one 9V and LED lights on the fret board and takes 4 9V batteries so maybe that is the problem. But it has a really loud squeal that will not disappear unless I keep my hand on the transmitter. (Not griping, just maybe one of your techs can figure this out)

Great purchase Great purchase. Really love being wireless. No challenges with latency or tonal quality. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in freeing up cable clutter. RS

Ampshark Transmitter/Receiver All in all it’s been flawless in operation. Holds a charge well. No noticeable difference in guitar tone or latency. Straightforward and intuitive to use. Four stars for build quality. Feels frail, light and plasticky which brings longevity into question. 1/4” jacks need to be checked periodically as they tend to work loose an unscrew from the units. Haven’t had it that long and used about ten times. Time will tell. So far so good.

I love my AmpShark…actually have bought… I love my AmpShark…actually have bought 2. Multiple gigs every weekend, and accidentally leaving it in my hot vehicle over a weekend destroyed the first one, so I bought another. The price point is perfect, the range, the response and the clarity are fantastic!
