GBI’ve had the aurora pro for about a…year I’ve had the aurora pro for about a year. This nvg is actually pretty amazing. Works well in low light, works well with illuminator, does a commendable job of trying to convert the dark into correct chromatic color. I gave it 4 stars because for this scope to make the leap it needs within the market it needs 2 things. First a digitally adjustable sight reticle as found on the ATN products. Second, the eye relief/focal point needs to be increased so that the eye doesn’t have to be so close to the display. This would allow for recoil with a black eye. SiOnyx has done a great job with this scope but these two features will greatly enhance the scope’s use ability for the hunting market.

GBANTIQUATED CAMERA TECHNOLOGY... BUYERS BEWARE! Recently purchase the Sionyx Night Vision camera on my new offshore boat and had it connected to my Garmin 8612xsv screens. When I turned on the camera and viewed through the Garmin screens, the view was blurry. I thought something must be wrong. I contacted Sionyx tech support and the response was: "...this looks like a normal Nightwave with a limitation from the Garmin display," Sionyx Night Vision camera resolution: 480p analog -vs- Garmin 8612sxv resolution: 1920x1080p digital This is not a limitation of the Garmin screens, Its the Sionyx Night Vision camera. I read many reviews, watched many YouTube channels discussion on the camera only to discover the true story and limitation of the this camera is not being told. I'm not a display guru but after spending upwards of $2,700 dollars for the camera and the install, very disappointed customer!!! If you are attempting to plug this camera into any modern digital display 12 inches or greater on your boat you're going to be very upset with the results. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ANALOG ANTQUATED PRODUCT!

GBUpon purchase of your explorer pro kit… Upon purchase of your explorer pro kit for almost $1,200 I think there is a problem with the sensor or processor in the digital night vision device. It doesn't even work at all in various light conditions low light and near moonless, darkness. It has a very grainy picture. With the IR illuminator it works great. However, there's no night vision without use of IR illuminator.

GBEXTREME VALUE achieving color digital night vision in compact elegant design Currently very early on with my testing/evaluation. But so far i am extremely impressed with the device. Top notch protective waterproof case. Very compact very elegant design. I love the digital enhancements with a sharp color image... far nicer than my $3k conventional NVG, and way sharper than my $3k thermal imager (but of course not having that special capability). i only had time for a quick eval around my yard, and i am very favorably impressed. i call it an extreme value for the price. Have not yet tested the IR illuminator, but i have had good results from using a different one with my conventional NVG.

GBAlohA AlohA I neva fill out these kind of surveys but I feel compelled to do so with this one. I had a minor disappointment when I received the Explorer Pro kit and I emailed it to Justin Johnson and he must have ran it up the chain of command because the next thing I know I'm receiving a UPS delivery of an extra, not included assembly at No Charge, at my office. The equipment and technology is incredible as my brother Rick recommended you and your service with a smile is old school and you now have a customer for life! MahalOz Francis B. (MacK) McClelland
