It works It works, like surprisingly well. If its a new moon out and cloudy it wont be very effective without some illumination. If its anything greater than a new moon (even when its cloudy) I can see 3 or 400 yards into my property clear enough to make out facial features. The only thing i'd improve is making one with a reticle...

I’ve had the aurora pro for about a…year I’ve had the aurora pro for about a year. This nvg is actually pretty amazing. Works well in low light, works well with illuminator, does a commendable job of trying to convert the dark into correct chromatic color. I gave it 4 stars because for this scope to make the leap it needs within the market it needs 2 things. First a digitally adjustable sight reticle as found on the ATN products. Second, the eye relief/focal point needs to be increased so that the eye doesn’t have to be so close to the display. This would allow for recoil with a black eye. SiOnyx has done a great job with this scope but these two features will greatly enhance the scope’s use ability for the hunting market.

The picture comes in crisp with low-to-no light while running offshore or through the intracoastal. Connecting the camera to my phone is a breeze- I'm looking forward to permanently installing the unit on my boat. You truly can't beat the quality of this product at this price point.

EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS! I thought the free Illuminator was a fake simply because of the price of it. But I got the free Illuminator as advertised in FB. I've enjoyed going outdoor night walks ever since. It's just the start, future plans will be photography of the wild and some night hunting. Aurora PRO exceeds my expectations, I walked around the dark areas of our neighborhood, and I can see clearly in details my sorroundings as if I have used a very large white bright spotlight.

Make the investment! Talk about quick shipping and ZERO hassle. ABSOLUTELY ZERO! Cannot wait to use this on some live fire courses but also utilize it on camping and night boating trips.
