This requires file sharers to install a… This requires file sharers to install a client on their device which I would normally not recommend for security reasons. I find that the app drains the battery on my device rapidly which has me installing it when I need it, then deinstalling it. Otherwise, for a client-based tool, it seems pretty decent, and I'll continue using it.

Cool product, but slow Cool product, but it’s just insaaaaaanely slow. I got 2000b/s internet at the office and 200 mb/s at home, yet I’m getting average transfer speeds of 7 mb/s, highest peak ever being 19.5 mb/s. Perhaps I’m missing something, but other uploads and downloads with other software are utilizing my full bandwidth.

Resilio Sync is amazing! Better than Dropbox, Google Drive, Synology Drive, and syncthing! Resilio Sync is amazing! I installed it on my Synology NAS and I've been using it to synchronize files across three different hosts. Before Resilio sync, I tried using Synology Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive, and syncthing, but Resilio Sync blows them all out of the water. Self hosted, *fast*, and it just works. I couldn't ask for more. I'll never use anything else. It is seriously amazing.

Goodbye rainy clouds... For years I used several cloud providers for syncing my files between my devices. Since I have several TBs of data to sync, none of the cloud solution were feasible. They are either too expensive or do not provide sufficient storage. Since I started using Resilio Sync I no longer worry about price/storage issues. Resilio Sync is perfect for syncing without a cloud provider. Definitely recommended.
