GBNice software, but jagged looking video I really like the layout, timeline and options available. Pretty impressive for free software. But, I can't get any final projects to look good. I do have a brand new Lenovo i-7 too. The videos come out looking jagged. I've spent hours changing resolutions, frame rates, deinterlacing etc. Even exported to different projects like, PC, Web, AVI, MPG, MPG4. No luck. Customer support has been great, as they always responded quickly with several suggestions. Ten years ago, my old Mac iMovie would create flawless DVDs with converted RAW home footage. In this day and age, you would thing video editing would be easier. Anyone else have the same issue?

RSTruly free but a bit overcomplicated I have been using VSDC video editor for years now. I'm free user, and free version has everything I ever needed. You can use vast choice of options and possibilities for even a pro editing. Downside, at least for me, is that this software is a bit too overcomplicated. Some ordinary operations require too much time and patience. You can easily get lost in dozens of icons, options, possibilities. All in all, it's good choice for free users that have enough patience to master this software.

IDVSDC is the most easy and user… VSDC is the most easy and user friendly. Compare to the other, VSDC is the fastest running software when we talk about video rendering or export. A lot of useful features for a professional looks video result.

GBStill learning, but loving this tool I have been using VSDC's Video Editor for a few years now. I knew ZERO before starting out with this. It was fairly easy to learn the basics, and I am still discovering and learning to use new features every time I use it. There is so much here that I still know nothing about. I absolutely still consider myself a beginner, but look forward to exploring everything this program has to offer. It's a great easy-to-use program for people like me, and I can only imagine what a more experienced and knowledgeable editor could do with it.

ITI'm a student and VSDC is just perfect! I'm a student and I often need a program to edit some videos and clips for school presentations. I used to rely on windows movie maker, but recently I wasn't satisfied with it anymore! That's why I decided to change and try VSDC... could't be happier! The program's interface is simple, everything comes natural and for any doubt I could have... there was a training online explaining me everything! So satisfied, I really recommend VSDC!!
