GBNing was fantastic in 2007 Ning was fantastic in 2007. Over the past few years the site support has deteriorated so much. Problems never get fixed and when they do the fix can sometimes make things worse. It's such a shame to see such a good resource being left to wither on the vine - and meantime we're still expected to keep paying.

GBNing is back Ning is back! It is night and day since Ning was taken over by the new company. Tickets are answered and improvements are being made. They basically picked up where the the old Ning left off and are continuing forward. They are even answering questions in the forums again. A lot of people rely on the new Ning and I feel confident going forward with them.

GBWorking with Ning has been an amazing… Working with Ning has been an amazing experience. The functionality is perfect for my “micro social network “ project. It is fantastic value and their support team answer questions almost before I have asked them. Absolutely brilliant!!

GBNing- Broken and Dying... Just about to cancel my remaining two sites with NING. Ning are now a faint shadow of what they were back in 2011/12 when I joined - a dynamic, cando operation that was totally professional. Today they are a broken, tired operation just limping along on past glories and clients subscriptions who are too lazy to change from them to much better, cheaper alternatives. E.G: Their links on the bottom of their site don't even work now - Resource not found! (??) What sort of operation is this. Sayonara Ning. You were once great - but now - broken and dying.

GBThe recent private equity acquisition … The recent private equity acquisition of NING is the best thing that has happened to it in the 9 years that I have been using the platform. It has begun to inject confidence into their creators. The integration with creators in the help forum and the live-online help are awesome and great beginnings. But, because the the previous NING leadership was so negligent, they need to do more. I recently filed a ticket because my search function wasn't working and it took 2 weeks to get a resolution- that's not good enough. They also need to address the following for 2.0 and 3.0, and do it quickly. 1. Better monetization of the mobile version. This is 40% of our traffic and I can't put any ads in front of these users. 2. Third-party creativity. They need to make the site easily modifiable so creators can implement 3rd party apps and tools. 3. Reliable emailing tools - Why should I need to get Constant Contact? 4. New Templates
