TRNot a promising experience. Cons: - It associated itself with all types of media files without asking. - To revert the associations one needs to untick every single file type. There is no "select none" option. - After being open a couple of minutes it made my PC come to a total freeze. No mouse, no keyboard, no ctrl+alt+delete, nothing worked. (I've never experienced such a freeze before) I had to shut-down the PC by long-pressing the power button. My system: Win 10 Home 64bit, Geforce GT 425M

FIBest videoplayer app what you can install Negative reviews or who saying its virus, do not believe these. Personally used years already, no any virus. Using built in windows security which is more than enough and everything is fine. Do not guys use some thirdparty which gives wrong results. But yeah this is best video player app what you can install on window also if you have iOS this have also AirPlay support. Only 4 stars because sometime i see ads and can't remove these, but that happens very rarely.

GBPing spikes every 10 seconds Had 0 issues with this player for a long time. I noticed I was getting this random lag spike from average 35ms to 200ms every 10 seconds. Took me three months to find out it was 5kplayer. Watched PingPlotter no issues, open 5kplayer ping spike pattern occurs, close 5kplayer no issues. Can repeat this process multiple times. Went into resource manager and noticed 5kplayer sends and receives data. So beware.

GB5k Player interfered with a legacy app… 5k Player interfered with a legacy app that I use to transfer files from a Toppy PVR. 5k player not started by me so when attempting to uninstall it I discovered it was running in the background without my permission. 5k player appears to launch itself at startup so to uninstall you have to kill the process in task manager first. Bad practice by the developer{s). I wont be reinstalling. Shame as it plays h265 videos that VLC cant play. I will have to find another media player for those files VLC fails to play.
