Beware (WINDOWS 10) BEWARE This player messed up my Bluetooth drivers (windows 10), it stutters sound, gets out of sync and disconnects any bluetooth device...I spent 2 days trying to troubleshoot why my bluetooth was acting that way without luck (I even reinstalled all my sound/bluetooth drivers). My last resort was to reset my computer to get it back to normal use, I had to compromise all my apps and some data :[ After resetting, everything was fine until I reinstalled the player and almost instantly noticed the culprit. Pretty upsetting because I liked the player.

5KPlayer freezes keyboard after PC sleep mode I use 5KPlayer to download YouTube videos and I find it pretty good. The problem with it is that when I wake my PC from sleep mode the keyboard gets frozen out and I have to do a restart. When I start my PC I have to straight away stop the 5KPlayer process in task manager or it happens again. It was happening with the mouse too but I sorted that. I uninstall 5KPlayer and everything goes back to normal. Annoying little bug.

Abundance of unwanted spam I gave them a 5 star review, I'm now taking it back. They will spam you with adverts for products you don't want or need, if you run their software. Don't install spam-ware.

I don't usually write reviews but I see… I don't usually write reviews but I see so many negatives ones here I felt compelled to chime in. I downloaded this player out of frustration of getting various picture quality from the various known players, and not being able to get any of them to play my 4K HDR movies. This one plays them perfectly and also plays my HD movies at the same quality so I don't have to keep adjusting setting. The only thing I can't seem to find is a frame-by-frame advance. But everything else is perfect, and the sound is amazing.

Not a promising experience. Cons: - It associated itself with all types of media files without asking. - To revert the associations one needs to untick every single file type. There is no "select none" option. - After being open a couple of minutes it made my PC come to a total freeze. No mouse, no keyboard, no ctrl+alt+delete, nothing worked. (I've never experienced such a freeze before) I had to shut-down the PC by long-pressing the power button. My system: Win 10 Home 64bit, Geforce GT 425M
