I think that the company changed hands over a year ago but they have certainly been having technical problems over the last few months. Their update page simply fails to update. The listed updates to mid January only show two so far this month; it did resume late last month but seems to have stopped again. The FileHippo updater, a program that you run on your PC to automatically scan for updates now fails to download definitions. In defence I have not experienced any malware issues though. It looks like this website is heading for the high road and I cannot see it lasting. My recommended alternatives would be Patch My PC, or Ninite.
