I sometimes forget that it's even a subscription because it always works and I never have to complain. I've subscribed for YEARS and the reliability has always been better than any ISP I've used. Retention is great. It works seamlessly with my newsreader. I don't use Global Search as much as I should but it's always been good when I've used it. Usenet Server is an affordable and reliable way to stay in touch with the Usenet.

Slightly slower than GN but FAR more article completion Giganews used to be better, and is still slightly faster (when it has the articles) but for the last 5 years at least, UNS has been my #1 provider overall. Speed is meaningless without article availability, and UNS strikes the balance. I believe it’s still the same farm as newshosting.com and powered by proper infrastructure.
