Great plugins and customer service Great plugins. Go to for all my 808 and synth bass sound design. Great customer support and regular free updates. Recently had an issue with Sublab no longer being available in my DAWs. It kept crashing during validation after an update was installed. Didn’t really mind because I upgraded to xl but needed to access some older projects so I reached out to customer support. They responded timely with an installer download link that fixed my problem. One of the better experiences I’ve had with plug-in support!

Best 808 vst out I've owned around 9 808 style VST's.. I only own 2 now *(see below) SubLabXL and X-eight.. I use SublabXL 90% of the time. The UI is intuitive and it gives you alot more control over your sound design than any other 808 vst out there. There are great Youtube vids out there if you are on the fence. I feel that the vst increased my creativity exponentially. Great purchase that reaped dividends. *I still own the original Sublab I just don't count it since SubLabXL has all my original sounds migrated over.

I had been waiting for something out of the box to smash my ears 👂 because bass is like the exhaust of music; no matter how good the sounds of everything else a big bass is the banshee of any good music, that’s a fact and SubBass XL is like an overhaul of the SubBass itself where you’ve giving anyone and everyone the pencil. NOW THE COMPETITION IS FAIR!!

I like the plugin I like the plugin. Aside from some confusion about the crossgrade. It has been smooth sailing. THIS PLUGIN IS LOUD AF. WHICH IS GREAT BUT ALSO BOTHERS ME WHEN GAIN STAGING. I usually use Phaseplant or Serum for this. A bit underwhelmed, but COOL!

FAW has great products! FAW has great products. Getting feedback to improve and provide what makes us buy is important. I have plugins that never get updated which makes me feel like they were one hit wonders. FAW makes good sounding, and great looking plugins that invite me to want to play with them.
