I'd go with another platform... I've been with Teachable for years. I like the ease of setting up courses, but that's about the extent of it. I wish I had something good to say about their customer service, but sadly, I don't have a single good experience to share. Oh sure, they're nice and all when they're on chat with you...probably to compensate for the utter lack of ANYTHING ever getting fixed. Every. single. time I've ever reached out to customer support, I am put on eternal hold while they "look into the issue". They come back saying some other department or team needs to investigate and that they will follow up with email. (either that, or they share some lame-o link from their FAQ page). Tickets are submitted, emails are sent, but NOTHING ever gets resolved. Ever. I have to wonder why in the heck they even HAVE a "customer service" department or chat support when, literally, nothing ever gets resolved. Keep in mind, I've been with them since about 2016, so I've reached out to their customer support many times over the years. Then, they have the audacity to send an email wanting to know how the experience was for you. I'm frankly sick of it and considering switching to one of their competitors.

Reliable, stable, easy to use. Fix your issues with international credit cards I have now been working with Teachable for 7 years. I have not regretted it. The service is reliable and the platform stable. Making lectures and courses is super easy. Only issue that I have is Teachable's difficulty with processing some credit cards outside of North America and Europe. I wish they could become as reliable in the acceptance of international credit cards as Stripe.

absolute scam of a company absolute scam of a company! They opted me in without my consent to the auto renewal. I never wanted this. After getting charged $468! I immediately messages and explain the situation and asked for a refund and for them to cancel my account and TURN OFF auto renewal in the future. They got back to me 5 days later with a copy and paste bog standard reply saying they can't do that, and they can't refund me. They have effectively stolen my money without my consent. What an absolute sham!

Decent Platform; Horrible Customer Support Decent platform for hosting and selling courses. Overall reasonably stable and full-featured. However, customer support is absolutely atrocious. If you have a problem or a question, you're on your own. No telephone support whatsoever. I've submitted dozens of online support tickets, and Teachable always replies with a quick excuse about why they can't help with the issue.

The Modern Snake-Oil Salesman After an initial 5-minute viewing, although I made repeated attempts, even resetting the password, I’ve been unable to access a workshop for a Zentangle Art Inspired workshop. Replies from the content designer: “Your computer has a virus,” “You need to reboot,” “I don’t see any problems from my end,” “You accessed the course once,” etc.. Messages to Teachable via the address provided on the site for customer service received the reply: “This email isn’t checked. You must use the email provided on the website.” I researched Teachable.com and concluded it’s like a traveling snake oil salesman; promised results to trusting consumers for a product that’s unauthentic and fraudulent.
