We have been using Vyatta/VYOS for… We have been using Vyatta/VYOS for years now and recently started participating in paid support program. We are happy to do this as we think it is important to financially support good open source software. I have had a couple of support issues thus far where I was not able to easily find the answer I was looking for on the web. I could have taken more time to look, but instead I was able to open up a quick line of communication to the VYOS support team. Their response has been prompt and thorough and truly interested in answering the question versus just moving through tickets. Great Job!

Excelent experience of using VyOS last year I tried to use VyOS as a router in a pilot project. it was really perfect, easy to use, stable and I liked it. I used VyOs to establish IPSec tunnel to Cisco and GCP and it works perfectly. They had a great community and you will get a fast answer in case of a problem.

Professional, Friendly and Reliable Vyos is a fantastic, performance router. Quick and easy to setup with the basics, but enough features to make it the sort of router you could run an ISP off easily (and I know people who have done just that) I use at home in a Virtual Router and I find it performs amazingly. No longer do we have to reboot the router at home to fix odd issues, because we don't have any. Vyos is an excellent tool not just for being a great router, but also to use for learning and teaching people the basics of routing. It's got built-in support for all the major useful VPN protocols, and the 1.4 builds have introduced support for Containers based on Podman. This allows you the flexibility to add interesting services/features to your router as required in a simple, secure and reproducible manner. Finally the Vyos Slack is full of helpful, friendly knowledgeable people. The forums are great as well. Vyos is my go to tool when I need a router or a VPN terminator etc. Professional, friendly and reliable. That's Vyos.

Feature set far beyond what you'd expect I've been using vyos since 2013. I was looking at purchasing a couple of other hardware devices from a vendor that sounds like Jupiter. There were several licensing restrictions and extra costs that would have gone into the project, but thanks to Lanner electronics and vyos, the cost dropped by about 75% and we didn't have to worry about extra licensing to do what we needed. I'm pretty much s novice when it comes to the network and network security side of the house, but our very experienced network team was more than impressed with vyos. And they were able to, not only complete, but add features, to our installation for several hundred workstations using 5Gb of bandwidth across 4 sites. Myself and a team with over 60 years of combined experience can't recommend it strongly enough.

5 stars - VyOS as backbone in our SAP cloud Our experience with VyOS is excellent. The customer support is great and we communicate directly with developers and systems engineers when need be. VyOS is by far the best vendor we use. We have 50 VyOS instances that make up the backbone of the virtualization of our datacenter networks. VyOS providing core networking in production for more than 1000VMs. On top of our platform, VyOS is the primary networking to deliver SAP Cloud serves for more than 40 businesses and 200 000 end users. We use VyOS as virtual appliances, for route propagation/ BGP, zone firewall, Internet access, and as a VPN concentrator. Each internal and external customer gets their own VyOS instance. We are very exited for the future releases and new functionality the team is planning to bring on!
