Typically using a N++++n Commander style file manager, I was very much looking for a Mac-alternative. Seems I found one with Commander One. Besides core features, it is clearly aimed to allow customizing to needs and not forcing a "Mac"-way on me. Also reaching out to support was quick and easy. Much appreciated.

Elmedia Player Elmedia Player: I've been using many different media players for MacOS at the same time. Mostly because each has good features, but it requires to switch from one to the other. I have used the Free Elmedia player and was stunned I could cast my on videos to my TV with so much fluidity, no lagging, top quality. All those video file formats, subtitles granularity (incl auto connect to subtitles.org or other). Most definitely the best media player on the market. I've decided to purchase the Pro version, not a subscription and that's a great point!
