Best Algo Software available! I became intrigued in algo trading after reading several books on the subject. Over a period of months I scoured the internet looking for low-code python based software where I could automate my ideas. BE far exceeded those expectations! You get multiple broker API options, flexible Python strategies, ability to create your own, a library of proven strategies and their back testing is institutional grade data. Last but perhaps the best part is the support. Never have I used a software and the team has wanted you to succeed more! The Software and capabilities keep getting better and better. Great customer service. So far, very impressed with this platform. I had an issue and they reached out to me and talked to me until the issue was resolved. Alpaca is the only broker supported at this time, as more are added, I will give 5 stars.

Easy to Use. Excellent Support. Starting using Breaking equity because I wanted to test some of my algorithms before I traded them live. Found their backtesting tool easy to use and was able to switch everything to my live account when I was satisfied that it was performing the way I had intended. The fact that it integrated directly into my broker is convenient and is something that I prefer because I don't have to move money between accounts in order to trade. Support team was also excellent and when I got caught during my initial setup they were very patient with me. I would highly recommend Breaking Equity to anyone who is currently looking for an Algo trading platform or was looking for a different way to manage their trades.

Great platform Breaking Equity is an awesome idea that has only recently launched and is exactly what retail traders have been looking for. Now algo trading isn't only for hedgies and the support from these guys is outstanding. All of the bugs (expected with a new program) are ironed out extremely quick and the staff follows up on any issue and all ideas to make the platform better for everyone. I have already made decent money using the platform and do not miss out on big moves anymore and all emotions are taken out of the equation. Awesome work guys, looking forward to more gains!

Algorithmic trading made easy! When I started looking into algorithmic trading to standardize my trading, I began with a more programming heavy product. I downloaded it and started playing with it. Although I have a background in JAVA, the interface wasn't intuitive at all and after a couple days of barely being able to simulate anything, I began looking for another solution. I found Breaking Equity and loved the easy to understand interface. Creating an algorithm from my trading ideas and backtesting them against years of data was easy and very informative. With data going back to 2007, it was easy to refine my strategy for all market conditions to begin automated trading for real! I would reccommend Breaking Equity to anyone looking to move to algorithmic trading.
