Multi-country travel First time using skyroam for multi-country travel. Went on a river cruise in Europe. Started in Hungary, then onto Slovakia, Austria, Germany and Czech Republic. The Solis Wifi worked seamlessly from one country to another, keeping my phone connected everywhere. When I ran low on my Global pay-per-GB data, I just went on line and got more data.

Skyroam IS NOT SAFE 13-9: problem solved! FINALLY simo solved my problem with Skyroam payment. Skyroam IS NOT SAFE. They collect daypass money from your creditcard and not willing to help you out who did this. In May we used internet payed by our creditcard for 11 days. 3 months later they start collecting money. From the moment I complain about 1 false collecting they start almost every day collecting money incorrect from our creditcard while I am in The Netherlands and not in the US

No issues with connectivity in Europe.. Took the Skyroam unit from Toronto to NYC then on to Barcelona, the Provence region of France, Lisbon, Porto then to London before returning home. It performed admirably. Constantly connected and supported mulitple users. No issues with connectivity. Used the global 1GB reloads easily. The unit does get a little warm especially if it is in your pocket or bag so be careful what you have near it (such as chocolate... )

Nice for basic wifi while traveling We bought a Solis Lite as an investment for traveling, mostly for on-the-go email and looking up directions to sites/local restaurants. We aren't using to stream movies or upload photos, leaving that to hotel wifi, so can't speak to slow high-data usage speeds. We've used the Global Unlimited wifi in both New Zealand and France; wifi service was consistent aside from expected dead zones, like being underground in the catacombs. Battery lasted a good 8 hours a day. The Solis does take 3-5 minutes to connect to local networks, so we just turned it on as we were heading out the door. Overall, we are pretty happy with our Solis Lite and will continue to use it for future travels.

Easy to set up and select a program Easy to set up and select a program, easy to add data! Traveled thru Greece and Italy and never had an issue. Charged it and tucked it into my day pack and had connectivity where ever we went. No worries about foreign networks or hidden roaming charges. Set the phones in airplane mode and connect thru WiFi. Especially helpful using maps and navigating cities-walking or by car.
