Great program for salvaging optical media Great program, far better than windows file explorer. You can skip files that can't be read (nasty CD scratch or disk rot) and often it can recover those files without hang like built-in Windows file explorer crap.

Recovered everything from old DVDs I was embarrassed to discover that several DVDs we received from our wedding photographer 10+ years ago were not backed up on our NAS. Works as it claims to Downloaded their Recovery Toolbox for CD Free software trying to recover a video file from a scratched CD that also had a small bit of paint scrapped off on the front side. Did its job perfectly and recovered the whole 600 MB file without any issues. Clean install/uninstall, haven't seen any malicious behavior from the website or the software.
