GBI have been a member of Stitch for over 8 years I have been a member of Stitch for over 8 years now. Early in my membership, I participated in many parties, and went to many comedy club shows, and many restaurant meals with other members, and got to know many members personally in my geographical area. When the pandemic started, there were so many Zoom Stitch events! I joined a weekly Zoom women's group then (which still exists and still meets every week), and started meeting other people from around the US and around the world! There were so many Zoom meetings to choose from, including playing games online, and discussing the books we were reading, etc. It made the pandemic not so lonely. I love Stitch so much! I almost forgot, there are many discussion groups on the Stitch website, about all sorts of topics. I wish I could give it more stars!

AUStitch is a Wonderful Thing Stitch is a wonderful thing! I have recently moved suburbs and it has helped me meet like-minded people in Southern Sydney. I have also enjoyed many days and nights out, with picturesque walks, good food, music, bands, dancing and even singing on a couple of occasions! The organisers are dedicated and arrange a lot of good activities. I have even organised my own tennis activity lately - to meet other tennis players in my local area. I have definitely benefitted from being part of the Stitch community!

AUSTITCH- a friendship 1st group Stitch membership app. makes it easy to view various activities, events and discussions. I walk-in alone usually,as I attend many events outside of my local area; as I prefer a day out near a beach for lunch.i've always felt welcome and safe. I have already made about 500 new connections since I joined. It's a lovely way to be able to mix and mingle with people from all walks of life and cultures. There are systems in place to keep us as safe as possible and we look after one another. Recently did a bus trip to Kiama for lunch and sightseeing. Highly recommend this friendship group.

GBA lifeline to the world I found Stitch at a time when I was finding it hard to develop friendships. Between the online discussion groups, then later the Zoom activities and finally the in person get togethers I began to get out more and gained a new social circle and several life long friends. As my confidence regathered strength, I rejoined the online dating scene and found my new sweetheart. I've been able to share this journey with my friends in a couple of Stitch chat groups.
