happy user! Moved from a self-managed email server to Fastmail 20 years ago. Zero regrets. Best email service. Very happy to pay a reasonable price for a rock solid service with no surprise, and a respect for my privacy. Strong authentication with a hardware key option. I only use for emails, not used their calendar or contact services. For these I still find the Apple apps easier and more intuitive.

Fastmail does not give you a free trial! Fastmail advertises 'Try Us For Free!' promising a 30-day free trial. They take your credit card and information to set up an account. Only then do they tell you there's no free trial, but don't worry--they'll add on a free month in your first year. When I saw what it would cost to add my wife as a second user, I decided it was not for me and closed my account. Did I get a free trial? No. Did I get my money back? No. In the jargon of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, this is a 'deceptive practice.' Ordinary people might use a different term.

Awful company that does not comply with… Awful company that does not comply with data laws - they withhold your data and their support team of Quinn and Tyler try to fob you off when you want to access private information. Had to involve solicitors and they have tried to ignore our solicitors also. Unethical company DO NOT USE or your data will disappear also. Legal Team and Data privacy team do not exist so be warned!!!

One star One star - only because I can't give Zero star rating. Business class email - do me a favour. In what business is it acceptable to raise a support ticket which gets responded to 4 days later with a reply that says the issue needs to be escalated and will take another week? The only telephone number they have is a FAX machine - Come on, REALLY???? Terrible service, Non existent communication and impossible to speak to anyone, anywhere in the world ( I have tried).
