FRterrible terrible, I can't believe they mess up with ilok, but what's worst, they aslo ask for f** USB dongle, my god.. their plugins are great, but cmon, these stupid things make people think opposite way.. also, there is missing simple approach as in the pluginboutique, where you can just DL the stupid trial in a 1 minute, and test that plugin.. without this, it's losing its potential.. it literally discourage people to even try that plugin, when they have to buy stupid usb

GBGreat! What can I say...they offer a subscription package that gives you tons a great plugins, reverb, mastering tools, and some amazing synths as well. They sound great but also look great :) . A full package that suits newbies (with a small monthly payment you get all you need) and pros (the quality of the plugins is amazing). So is a massive "yeah"! The plugins and presets seems mainly focused on rock / pop, I would love more presets for sound designers and film composers. Anyway, that is purely a suggestion, I absolutely love SLATE's stuff!

GBI was trying to renew my SSL… I was trying to renew my SSL subscription to their monthly plug in service and when I tried to access my account it took me straight to Slate digital. Why, when I am in my SSL account does it take me to there SLATE DIGITAL, I AM IN SSL ACCOUNT NOT SLATE. WHAT IS WRONG THERE???

GBSlate is a weak brand Slate is a company that releases products at $999 to drop the price to $499 couple years later. I lost all my trust in this company after buying the VML-1 a great product that lost half its value, which is the opposite of what strong brands like Neumann produces. The plugin offer is ridiculous you can't buy a plugin below $200 but you are pushed to subscribe to the all access that I personally do not want.

GBThe Slate Digital experience is… The Slate Digital experience is mind-blowing. Real-world modelled hardware in software plugins, for less than 2 Starbucks and a muffin per month. My million dollar studio has become a reality because of Slate and thier monthly pricing policy. Combined with Cakewalk by Bandlab (a free top tier DAW - long story) and a Slate monthly sub for $14.99 - I can complete with any audio engineer out there. I love the Slate workflow too, it's simple and easy to adopt and your ears will thank you for the purchase, the end product is always amazing. Long live Steven and Fabrice and everyone at Slate Digital, thank-you for making this service to the music industry, so accessible to so many.
