GBSLIDESHARE IS A SCAM: DON'T SIGN UP As far as I can tell, Slideshare is a scam. I had to sign up for it in order to rent a film. It is somehow connected to Linked In. I have tried to cancel the account but there is no menu item to do so. I got a message that I've have a contract to use the site for three months before I can cancel. I don't remember being informed about any contract. The only way I can get rid of it is cancel the credit card I signed up with. This stinks.

CAI wanted only to change my email address I wanted only to change my email address. Pretty simple. Just edit personal details, save and wait for a confirmation email and respond in the manner described in it. Problem was that the confirmation email never arrived. Neither did the resent confirmation email or the one after that or the one after that. Their auto-response system is broken. Then I had trouble with the drop-down box of options available by clicking on your profile image. Unresponsive. They have a lot of basic tech problems. I contacted Support who suggested I send a screen shoot. How can you take a screenshot of an email never arriving?
