Horrible Company serves fake docile people I am very unhappy with checkr and their background check service. They claim to be fair and accurate, but they are not. They have a data point on my report that disqualifies me from all the jobs I apply for, even though it is irrelevant and outdated. This is a violation of my fourth amendment right to be secure in my person, as I do not consent to sharing my past with anyone. I only want to be recognized for my skills and qualifications, not for something that happened years ago and has nothing to do with my current abilities. Checkr is ruining my chances of finding a decent job and I urge everyone to avoid them at all costs. They are a scam and a disgrace to the industry.

I have a relatively clean record and noticed an abnormality on a background check k they performed when I emailed and called multiple times before finally being able to talk to someone who could barely speak English and I was Essentially told to kick rocks.I sent at least half a dozen more emails to them trying to contact a supervisor with no response at all. Since this horrible company is what a job I applied to uses as their sole source for background checks I was not hired for a position because of checkr.

I am still jobless because of checkr I am still jobless because of checkr. Pulling my records of a kansas website that has been shut down. I have called kansas court of records and they provided me with a working website, gave the website to checkr and they told me they cant accept any information from me. So here i am almost a year later still having my background check pending. This is so frustrating. I dont know why they dont update their system. How are they still trying to pull records of a website that has been shut down.

Poor product descriptions The product descriptions say that the background checks are sufficient for school district employees and teachers. However they do not provide the required fingerprinting level check for these position. So I wasted money that they will not refund on BG checks that don't actually meet the minimum standard for the industry. The customer service was no help and displayed no interest in resolving my issues.
