IEdoubled subscription without notice This company doubled my yearly subscription without any notice, taking it from my bank account without warning. I only noticed it a week or so later. This is an unethical, dishonest, business practice, and I can't believe they continue to do this despite all the bad reviews and previous posts from former users who have got burned by them.

CHAbsolute scam Absolute scam. I made an acount to follow interesting academic literature. Instead I received daily mails concerning somebody mentioning my works in their research. Quite impossible, since none of my works is qualitative nor connected to my account. Nevertheless Academia.edu tries to sell you a subscription to view non-existing mentions.

GBAVOID AT ALL COSTS Processed a yearly subscription from my account without any notice or instruction. Thieves. Stay away, and do not sign up for any of their ‘£1 trials’ as they will scam you in the future. Never again will I use this companies service, and I hope this review reduces their future income.

DKSigning up for a one month trial at 3… Signing up for a one month trial at 3 dollars.. A month later they take 99 dollars for an auto renew year suscription.. What a scam.. They might be within their rights, but this seems to intenational on their part... Guess that is the business plan, to make students fork over their money by a technicality, and clever auto renewal.. Bad look on their part.. Tried to get a refund, but guess that is a long shot, because it clearly is their method to make you think you pay 3 dollars for a month, and when you relish they have taken a whole year worth, yeah then they have your money..

GBI'd give them 0 stars if I could. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. This is about as scammy as it gets, folks. Trust the reviews. My bad experience is like a regurgitation of what others have posted. Hefty charge for a mysterious service I definitely didn't sign up for after I visited their site once, like, a year ago and didn't sign up for anything. Not even a trial offer. Yeah, no. Hard pass.
