Focused massage sessions, treating your specific needs. Hi, my name is Emily Boudwin. I've had ten years of hands on experience, working to relieve and reduce my clients chronic pain patterns. I've always enjoyed helping others. The one on one that I get with my clients, means that I get to focus on you and helping you to understand your muscular pain and discomfort. We get to explore together your pain and tension patterns and then work on lessening them. I will teach you about what I am doing.

Migraine Relief with Massage I’ve been working with Emily for over two years. Prior to that, I was in near constant pain from migraines. My neurologist suggested massage to augment the Pharmaceuticals she was prescribing. After my first couple sessions, my pain had lessened and the frequency started diminishing. Emily’s technique is something I’d never experienced with other therapists. She has a lot of knowledge with how our bodies different processes work together and can often pinpoint where in my body I’m experiencing issues almost as soon as I walk in her office. I’ve been seeing Emily bi-weekly for quite a while and am so happy I found her! I appreciate her flexibility with scheduling and her willingness to provide additional sessions if needed.

Pregnancy, labor prep, and postpartum care! I highly recommend Restorative Health and Wellness for prenatal massage, movement and alignment during pregnancy, preparing for labor, and postpartum self-care. Emily helped me stay comfortable as my body grew and changed during my twin pregnancy. She was a huge help as my center of gravity changed and I started having low back pain. She gave me lots of movement tips to keep proper alignment and reduce pain. Her tips always met me where I was without judgement. She also showed me and my husband labor comfort measures and movements to help facilitate labor in different stages. It made a huge difference in my labor experience! Even in postpartum, Emily continues to help me figure out ways to find healthy breastfeeding positions (not easy when you're feeding 2 at once!) and inspires me to find new ways to move well and with ease. Emily also has an amazing array of helpful books and resources that she is happy to lend out. Her books range from moving well during pregnancy, tongue ties, nutrition, and proper breathing techniques. I've learned so much from the books she's lent me. I look forward to every massage with Emily. The massage itself is always focused on my needs but I also look forward to what I will learn from her. Also, Emily uses coconut oil for massage, which makes my skin so happy!
