Ames Walker Brand-My Choice Since being diagnosed with venous insufficiency several years ago, I have needed to wear compression hose. After much research, I found that Ames Walker provided the most information and best quality compression hose and socks (I wear both). While the site offers more than one brand, I have found the Ames Walker brand wears best, the variety of styles and colors provided is excellent, and the price is competitive. I don't need to shop anywhere else.

While working at Walmart and standing on my feet for 8-10 hour shifts I found myself with painful, restless legs. I have found that propping my legs up for 15-30 minutes as soon as I get home from work, shopping, a trip to the park, or even long car rides makes such a difference! I have been using Ames Walker products … I have been using Ames Walker products for years with mostly happy results until I ordered the 'travel socks/stockings' which stretched so much that they come WAY OVER the knees ... a TOTAL WASTE inasmuch as I never use them. I had ordered them at the recommendation of the person I placed the order with!

Pleased with the quality and customer service. I have used Ames Walker to purchase compression stockings for several years and have been pleased, both with the customer service and the quality of their products (the Ames Walker Brand). I would have given a 5 star rating, except that recently, I'm having trouble finding a selection of regular knee high compression garments that are not primarily making a new fashion statement. I'm not looking for diamonds and polka dots. I'm looking for knee high compression stockings that don't draw much attention to themselves. The new stockings are fine, just don't make it hard for me to find the old sheer knee-high style I'm looking for. Thanks.

The Lounge Doctor Leg Rest is the Best!! The Lounge Doctor Leg Rest has been a great addition in my life. Working long hours into the night in a restaurant, playing piano standing for various hours three times a week. All these are factors that cause my legs to ache and begin to show minor swelling.
