This is the best choice ever! After some research in August, my husband and I selected Q-Fix Appliance Service due to the reviews. Per Victor at the initial visit re: the refrigerator, the cost to replace two parts in the freezer would be $950. He recommended to consider buying a new refrigerator since this process is costly with a possibly of something else breaking down. Which we decided to do due to the age (2006). We were impressed with his honesty rather than suggesting to proceed with the service. He also looked at our clothes dryer which was running very hot and the ‘start’ button did not work and we had an electrical issue with our range hood. Victor returned in Sept. after ordering replacement parts. The dryer still did not work well and start button was not repairable. Again, he could have charged for his time and the parts but did not. It took a while to get a new control board for the hood which was installed end of Sept.. He only charged for this part and labor and deducted the initial service charge since he was returning to our home to do the work. Victor’s estimates included a complete breakdown of the problem, recommended repair, cost and any other explanations. He is thorough, professional, cares, works hard and IS his word…..honest…which is hard to find these days.
