About Acill Classic Computers and Consoles

This is a hobby project I maintain repairing and restoring vintage computers and game consoles. I specialize in Amiga. I strive to offer the best service and repairs in the US at an affordable rate. I am able to do this because I don't work for a profit but rather for the joy of seeing these machines come back to life and remain in working condition.

Amiga 1000 recapped Had my Amiga 1000 recapped. Excellent communications before, during and after the project. Board looks very nice after and high quality caps. Solder points are very nice and uniform. No extra solder blobs hanging around. All very nice. Looking forward to the next 30+years with it. I'll be sending all my other Amiga's to get recapped also!!

Amiga 4000 Rework I sent my Amiga 4000 boards to Paul for some rework in 2018. After discussing his recommendations, I had him replace the SIMM and ROM sockets and swap out some aftermarket ceramic caps for polymers. The work took some time, mostly because he had to attend to his day job, but Paul was up front about this from the beginning and provided status updates along the way. (And let's face it, rehabbing an old Amiga is not something you need done in a hurry.) My boards came back in top-notch shape, ready for the next 25 years. All the solder joints look neat and professional. Thanks, Paul!
