Good but not perfect Hostelbookers is one of my favorite places to book my stay. I never had any problems with the reservation after arrival, everything went smooth and nice. There is a one thing you have to know (at least it was a bit surprising for me, but I haven't read the small text underneath the transaction details :)) - the payment is always converted into British pounds, so if you have a bank account in some other currency you have to pay additional fee, so at the end it costs you a bit more.

Hostelbookers lives up to its name I just booked two hostels through Hostelbookers. All went well as usual. I learn a lot from reading the "least favorable" as well as the enthusiastic reviews. Two suggestions: I would like the option to filter by reviews from 41+ age travelers. Also would welcome a Paypal option.

Hostelbookers was easy to use and pretty cheap The site is user-friendly and the commission is not too steep to book a hostel for cheap. I would use the site again!
