Fun and Relaxed This was a fun way to meet some new people and get a feel for whether you might enjoy each other’s company. I liked that in that five minutes I knew whether we were connecting or if we just weren’t going to be able to keep a conversation flowing. And everyone was so nice! I was surprised at how fast the night went by. Absolutely would go again

FAIRWOOD 226 in Charlotte, NC is CLOSED PERMANENTLY The venue Fairwood 226 in Charlotte, NC is closed permanently and I notified Troy and Kristine to no avail. The speed dating events are still scheduled at Fairwood 226 which no longer exists. I am in the matchmaking program so I can attend the speed dating events for free but it is really upsetting that I paid for this program and none of the people who run this organization are listening. They are going to have people show up at Fairwood 226 and be very disappointed considering the establishment is closed. I even sent the marketing team an email on venues that I felt would be a great fit and no response.

Great Experience I had a great Experience trying Speed dating vs the current age of Apps. The experience is much better than using traditional dating apps to try to connect with someone in person. The host (Bobby) was superb in welcoming everyone into the venue and getting everyone set up with seating arrangements as well as help with the date card online submission. He does well to break the nervousness in the group to make the experience both fun and relaxing. The online portal I found to be great to help remember names and faces of whom you met, especially on a larger group night. I would try them again in the future.

Fun Event and Great Venue I really enjoyed the event I attended in Pasadena. It was a good size, with 11 mini dates. I felt like I had enough time to talk to everyone but it wasn’t too long. Great venue. I liked that they let the women remain at a table and the men switch.

Great experience Kristine and others at CheekyDate have done a great job of streamlining the process of finding good matches. So far all of my potential matches have sounded like great people worth meeting. It was also quite easy meeting with my first match at the appointed time and place.
