Father's Day Gift This was a Father's Day present - (given to me weeks early because my wife couldn't wait to introduce our granddaughter to the joys of hiking). She (2 1/2 year old granddaughter) loved the combined experience of exploring by foot interspersed with standing on "pop pop's" back. The piggyback set up (included loading child) effortlessly. It seems safe, strong, and well made. My only suggestion would be to provide adult shoulder padding (like the belt accessory which I wore comfortably) to help ease pressure. Otherwise, this carrier is one of the best hiking accessories I've ever owned!

Very convenient carrier for kids Very convenient carrier for kids. It stores small which is great. I wish it had an improved load distribution like some heavy duty backpacks to help take or distribute the load to the hips rather than just the shoulders.

Great after thorough adjusting We used the Piggyback Rider + the waist belt on our roundtrip in Newfoundland and Tatra mountains in the Slovakia and it worked very nice. Note that you really have to take the time to adjust everything exactly to your size, otherwise, it can be quite painful experience. But assuming you did it right, it's a great way to travel even in very hard terrain (like a mountain slope full of large wiggly rocks) with your little one.

Really happy with this carrier Really happy with this carrier. Been searching for a while for one that suits us and our active, energetic toddler and allows us to keep the pushchair at home, but have a back-up plan for when she eventually tires. Thanks

It’s a nice concept but needs refining It’s a nice concept but needs refining. My daughter is under the weight limit but when I took her out with it, it couldn’t support her weight and she ended up with the platform giving way. Considering the price, this was really disappointing. I ended up ditching it and carrying her on my shoulders.
