Brown Paper Tickets and Events.com will not pay my small business what they collected for us We held an event through BPT in February of 2023 (after Events.com purchased BPT in October of 2022). They collected over $23,000 and promised payment within 10 business days. Almost a year later we haven’t received a penny of the funds BPT collected from our customers. All Events.com will do is say the usual “this was BPT not us, except Events.com had already acquired BPT. Numerous attempts to collect via an attorney have gone unanswered by Events.com. Pay us! We are a small business struggling and can really use the tens of thousands of dollars owed to us.

Still Waiting for Money Owed - ETA Finally got paid We were quite happy initially that Events.com acquired Brown Paper Tickets as this organization owed us money for tickets sold at an event held in Spring 2022 and Events.com promptly paid us back for this. However, the money for tickets sold at a subsequent event held in December 2022 (which Events.com managed) is STILL OWED to us nearly 5 months later. We have repeatedly enquired as to when we will receive our funds with no response. We are now using another online ticketing platform. ETA: Once we went public with bad reviews online, we "miraculously" were paid the money we were owed. I stand by my original review - it took a great, lengthy effort to finally get paid by Events.Com.

BEWARE - Unethical cancellation policy Events.com team did not mention their cancellation policy or when it would come into effect despite speaking to their customer support on the phone numerous times. Another company hiding behind the small print. The cancellation charge was astronomical. This is incredibly poor service, I will not use them ever again.

Is Events.Com corrupt? Serious concerns that events.com is a bonafide company. We are a children's NFP and are owed $13K from an event we sold through Brown Paper Tickets - a company they bought back in 2022. No phone contact available to either company, automated response to support.

Invoice writing As I am using an iMac computer and have no smartphone. I, therefore, found that I had to download an invoice template. But when I filled it in to send off all the information had disappeared, so I printed it and filled it in by hand, scanned it to create a .pdf to attach to the email I needed to send.
